Online registration for the 10th annual Spank Blasing 5K/10K Run & Fun Walk is now CLOSED. You can still register for the race at the CSU-Pueblo Department of Athletics located in Massari Arena. The athletic department will be open from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Friday, April 20. Race day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.

The Spank Blasing 5K/10K Run & Fun Walk promotes a healthy family lifestyle, exercise, fitness, and higher education. The entry fee includes an official race gift, goodie bag, complimentary post-event Aquafina water and Gatorade, as well as a free breakfast burrito, a free Miller Lite (for those 21 and older), and a live band.
The 5K & 10K run, and two-mile walk is conducted around the CSU-Pueblo campus and the Belmont neighborhood and ends with a final lap around the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl. Over 500 people took part in the 2011 version of the Spank and more than $19,000 was raised for the ThunderWolves student athlete scholarship fund.
